Galactic HQ
When I saved here in my Platinum, it said I was in "Galactic HQ". Trivia-worthy? Also, I was wondering if the same happens in DP. Lucadan (Talk) 13:34, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
- Probably. The warehouse is just an extension of the HQ; they are connected. —darklordtrom 21:34, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Merge
OK, time to bring this back up on the table. I just saw this article was to be merged with Team Galactic HQ. I say let's do it because it is the same location, just different places in the building you can access. Plus the items in this article are the same as the ones in Team Galactic HQ. Merging would eliminate any confusion. --Wildgoosespeeder 03:19, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, here's an interesting quote (from the Prima guidebook): "The Galactic Warehouse and Galactic Veilstone Building in Veilstone City make up Team Galactic's headquarters." So what it's saying is that Galactic Warehouse + Galactic Veilstone Building = Team Galactic HQ. Therefore, we should merge this article into Team Galactic HQ (else rename it to "Galactic Veilstone Building" and give the underground corridor its own article due to being part of neither building). --SnorlaxMonster 11:29, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- Isn't Prima a 3rd party guide publisher? Although Prima does support my stance on merging the two topics, what does Nintendo in some way, shape, or form say is true about the Team Galactic Warehouse and Team Galactic Veilstone Building? Doesn't Nintendo publish their own guides like Prima does? Are both Team Galactic HQ or are they truely different buildings just almost intersecting each other? Or is Team Galactic HQ just a fan term? --Wildgoosespeeder 02:54, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
- Nintendo does not publish their own guides, the Prima guidebooks are the official guidebooks (even says so on them). The save location within the game of the Veilstone Building and underground tunnels is "Galactic HQ". The only place that doesn't have that as a save location is the surface warehouse, which is simply "Veilstone City". So I would be happy to call one article "Galactic HQ" and put a section on Veilstone City's page for the Warehouse itself, or even keep this page but make it entirely about the Warehouse and not the underground tunnels. --SnorlaxMonster 09:18, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- "Nintendo does not publish their own guides, the Prima guidebooks are the official guidebooks (even says so on them)." OK, that statement is half true. Nintendo used to publish their own guides. I just went to the Nintendo Online Store and clicking the "Magazines & Player's Guides" section says Prima Games is the official publisher of game guides. With that being said, merge away! --Wildgoosespeeder 18:26, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- Well, the Prima guides are published by The Pokémon Company International (HGSS on) or Pokémon USA, and their word is probably better than Nintendo's anyway. --SnorlaxMonster 01:09, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- Nintendo is the parent company. Like it matters anyway. --Wildgoosespeeder 02:07, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
- Getting off-topic, but Nintendo is not the parent company of The Pokémon Company. --SnorlaxMonster 02:28, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
- Maybe I am thinking of Game Freak or Creatures (or other studios like Game Sonority and Ambrella)? Logically if Nintendo owns or is affiliated with those companies, than it is the parent? Still like it matters anyway. Just merge the articles already! --Wildgoosespeeder 03:43, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
