It's "not obtainable", yet I don't imagine FRLG or E have all of the e-Reader Berries programmed into them... so couldn't you trade a Pokémon into those games with a Pumkin Berry or something and then you'd have an Enigma? And if you traded that Enigma to a RS game that hadn't done any e-Reader Berrying... it'd also be an Enigma Berry...? TTEchidna^G_SDS! 03:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

In R/S (and japanese FR/LG/E), you are not allowed to enter the Trade center if any Pokémon in your party is holding an e-reader berry. Blueapple128 20:34, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

When?

A Pokémon hold this is hit by a super-effective move, and recovers 25% HP, consuming it. OK, but is that before, after, or in place of any damage received? Samjohn95 19:42, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I want to know this too. I gave this to my Froslass, expecting it to heal, but much to my dismay, a Salamence KO'd it with one super-effective rock slide. Why didn't the berry activate? Does it not work with full health? Zorakirby 17:13, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
