Main Artwork

I know the HeartGold and SoulSilver art is newer, but shouldn't we still keep the Sugimori art as the main image for the article? --AndyPKMN 15:21, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

The Sugimori artwork is now the main image again. SatoMew 14:41, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Her Poké Doll: escape item or a decoration?

Let's get this straight here for once so we can avoid edit conflicts in the future.

In my opinion, her Clefairy doll is a decoration, despite being technically delivered to her as an escape item in Generation I and FireRed/LeafGreen. But others still see it as the escape item, despite being a decoration in Generation II and HeartGold/SoulSilver. So what's the established perspective on this? SatoMew 14:41, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

I'll gladly defer to the judgment of somebody with authority no matter which way this is decided, but in my opinion, linking her Clefairy doll to the "Pokémon doll" article is a complete non sequitur, since that page only covers the decorations that can be used by the player character, and makes no mention of Copycat's Clefairy doll. If the "Pokémon doll" article is expanded to explicitly mention Copycat's doll as given to her by Red in I/III and how it was lost in II/IV, I'd be fine with linking it to that page, but as all pages currently stand, the only article that makes sense to link it to is the escape item, Poké Doll, because that is canonically what the object physically is, no matter what it's being used as. I would agree, as her Clefairy doll is explicitly the Pokemon Doll, and thus technically an escape item. --It's Funktastic~! (talk) 19:09, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Gen IV art

Shouldn't it be at the top of the page, not at the bottom? --Abcboy (talk) 15:26, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Your answer is right on this talk page. SatoMew 15:27, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
My new question is why. --Abcboy (talk) 15:32, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
Because, even though the TCG artwork is more recent, Sugimort artwork has priority. SatoMew 15:49, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Layout

Isn't it better to make a layout for the maps of her house ? I think it will be clearer if versions (RG, RBY, GSC, FRLG (J), FRLG (int.), HGSS) are put in columns and floors (1F and 2F -her room-) are put in lines. Chiwi★ (Talk) 13:48, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

House?

How is Copycat's house notable enough to have pictures of it on the article? Glik (talk) 22:35, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

Page title

This page is currently named "Copycat (character)" with a request to move it to "Copycat (Kanto)".

My opinion is this: As long as she's the only character with that name in Pokémon media, "Copycat (character)" should be clear enough. I would prefer keeping the page title "Copycat (character)" instead of renaming it to "Copycat (Kanto)". The proposed name "Copycat (Kanto)" kinda implies that other characters with that name also exist outside of Kanto, right?

Incidentally, we currently have another page with (character) as well: Detective Pikachu (character). --Daniel Carrero (talk) 22:01, 5 March 2024 (UTC)

This does make a whole lot of sense. Eeveelutionred (talk) 07:29, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
