Trivia

Correct me if I am wrong, but James and his second Victreebell are should also be mentioned in the Trivia "Pidgeot is one of two Pokémon owned by a main character that evolved before being released in the same episode. The other Pokémon to do so was Togetic. Coincidentally, both are dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon."Portuguese Old Man 15:27, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

James only had that Weepinbell for less than an episode, and evolved it in less than an episode, so I'm not sure if I agree... TheBlazikenMaster 17:19, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Why?

Why can't my little bit stay in the Trivia section of the article? It's an interesting note and I've seen less important stuff that takes up more space. - unsigned comment from Mattrd08 (talkcontribs) 02:54, 27 February 2009

Because it's uninteresting, confusing, and not notable. You can be sure that I get rid of any non notable trivia I see, so I highly doubt there's much of it. シンジShinjiLover,Edits 02:57, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I think it's pretty notable. - unsigned comment from Mattrd08 (talkcontribs) 03:02, 27 February 2009

Well, who's saying Pidgeot hadn't been owned by another Trainer before? ~ overgrownsol 03:04, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Fix it up, making it seem more interesting, and try again. If it gets taken down, then stop whining. =/ Also, sign your comments with ~~~~. シンジShinjiLover,Edits 03:12, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Fly

Ok first off I know that my assumtion may be wrong but I think that we could say it used fly seeing as how it actually carried ash in the air. Since staraptor and noctowl havent done that, it seems logical that it was fly. The only other was charizard, but this is pidgeots page. So what do you guys think? Happizelpom 17:31, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

I think your logic is right. You can use the move fly as a trasportation in both the games and television. - Vhayes1992 21:49, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Unless he said "Use Fly" it doesn't know it. -Sketch 21:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Actually, pokémon have been seen using attacks without a trainer's actual command, but I can see your side as well. This is really a grey area and no one can say for sure wether Pidgeot knows fly without Ash realizing it or just an error of some sorts. - Vhayes1992 01:53, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Trivia

Regarding the claim "Pidgeot is one of only two Pokémon owned by Ash that has not at one point evolved in the presence or due to the presence of Team Rocket, the other being Kingler," what about Ash's Muk? Weixifan 16:07, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Ash's Muk didn't evolve on-screen, like Noctowl and Pikachu. However, Pidove and Sewaddle will evolve soon so it is likely to be removed soon anyway.----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 16:12, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Prima/Loreli

Didn't Ash's Pidgeotto appear in a flashback in The Mandarin Island Miss Match, when he was reminded by Prima of his badges? Just that its not mentioned on the page (I may add it if I can get the episode up)? XVuvuzela2010X 01:15, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Released or At Home?

Ash told Pidgeot that he would come back for him in Pallet Party Panic, yet it is stated that he released Pidgeot. Pokémon aren't technically released unless the Poké Ball method is used, like in Charmander the Stray Pokémon. In James' article in the Pokémon section, Growlithe and Chimecho are listed as "At Home." If Ash hinted that he would come back for it, shouldn't it be listed as "at home?" Satoshi101 00:48, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

He released it to be with Pidgey and Pidgeotto. It's not at his house. Growlithe and Chimecho are actually living at James's homes. Pidgeot is in the wild. --ケンジガール 00:57, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Location

How do we know that Pidgeot is really at Verdian Forest? Truthseeker4449 17:40, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Because the Pidgey and Pidgeotto, that Pidgeot stayed behind to look after, lived there. LimeGreenCharizard 18:16, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
