Those Glitches

I don't believe in any Generation III glitches (except ??????????, ? and Bad Egg). Pokémon R/S/FR/LG/E doesn't have those dummy data for glitches. All Pokémon data are occupied by certain Pokémon (except 0 and 252-276, which are in case occupied by ?????????? and ? respectively). There is no PLACE for glitches in Gen. III. --Maxim 10:26, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I must say, I don't believe this is really that notable. I'm not a glitch expert, so I wouldn't know for certain. But I just don't think we need this article. --PAK Man Talk 14:55, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
You don't belive in glitches, so lets say since it's dex no. is 252, it's somehow related to treeko (can't see how though). But something i would call a glitch, look at the generation 3 "glitch" pokemon and look at the one with the dex.number ?87 (don't know what that means)

Also just so you know, theres a no. 912 which is another ?????????, the one that you hatch from the egg (it says how to get that egg on the gen. 3 glitch pkmn page) - unsigned comment from Ant (talkcontribs)

i meant to add it to the generation 3 glitch pkmn section.

Deletion?

I honestly think this isn't very notable. As other people said, the only places for our glitchy friends to roam in R/S is slot 0 and 252-76, 0 being ?????????? and the latter being ?. Should I put the delete tag on this? TinaTheKirlia 17:26, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. This is on par with the "pull out link cable" glitch Pokémon. TTEchidna 17:36, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
Just another variation on glitch eggs, of which there's a few dozen different kinds (and only two or three are notable enough for their own article). Definitely put the delete tag on it. -- Umbee 19:47, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Umm in pokemon Gold/silver/crystal, there was a pull out link cable glitch. Just go into link room and go to battle. Pull out link cable, plug back in. Re-insert link cable and switch pkmn.

And why can't people just stop being lazy and give this a try, it really works. If you need proof, watch this youtube vid, the glitch im talking about will appear in the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTvJWlpfV3s

Y'know, if you'd just link to YouTube, it'd be easy to solve. Our job is not to go all over hell and high water to find out if something really exists. But thanks anyway. TTEchidna 03:08, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
I'll give this a try, if I can get my hands on the source Pokémon for the glitch. Vekter 16:26, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
It does exist. This particular Pokémon is (according to my brother) good at contests. He, however, got his from a Bad EGG when it hatched (naturally). Looking at it in Ruby/Sapphire freezes up the game, though other Gen 3 games (including Emerald) can see it normally. I'm curious, though, how did it get to be it's type? Flippin' categories...

This glitch owns a Mew. XD Man, this page REALLY loves to glitch up the place and categorize itself. ...it is a glitch, after all, but that's only in Pokémon games we thought at first. Oh well, if anyone spots any more glitch-ups from this article... o__O; TinaTheKirlia 17:35, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

I've spotted this page in places it shouldn't a few times.  It once showed up under "H" in Category:Harley's Pokémon, under the "What Links Here" for Template:Special, and god knows where else?!
Beat Up (move) also glitches up like this, as it's been seen in Category:Generation I Pokémon.  --Shiningpikablu252 20:00, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
And it's glitching again!  As of right now, "Template:User Ben 10"'s "What Links Here" section says the template is included in the mainspace for "-".  I don't see the template in question anywhere on that page.  I hope someone's not resting on their laurels and looking for a way to fix this!  --Shiningpikablu252 00:16, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
****, I've found another glitchy page!  As of right now, the page Template:Project Shipping notice says that it's included on the Super Rod redirect page when there's no sign of said template there!  --Shiningpikablu252 23:13, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Templates. There are a couple random Pokémon pages in there - as far as I know, it's a glitch-up.. D: Tina 03:51, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Now its showing up as having a:Image:Colorbar.gif on it. Maybe we should rename the page to Hyphen (glitch) or something like that. Shiny?! 17:11, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Tried that.  Didn't work.  Glitch kept appearing under the revised name.  --Shiningpikablu252 17:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't get it... how is this happening?! TTEchidna 13:29, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I think I figured it out! It shows up for any category or image for the first 24 hours that the category/image has been around. Shiny?! 20:12, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Ahhhhh! That makes sense! Because it's showing up on 'What links here' on "Image:281sMS.gif"! Tinaδ20:15, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
But why this page?Shiny?! 20:18, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
'-' = Blank data, maybe? Even though this page exists, the software might read '-' as null data or something... I dunno. Tinaδ20:20, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
I'd say we need to move this page and rename it to something like "- (Glitch)". That way, if "-" is null data, we can avoid it. Vekter 16:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Cleaning Up

This page needs a bit of a rewrite, I'm going to go ahead and work on this over the next day or two. Vekter 16:11, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I've cleaned it up and added a disputed tag to the page. I'm going to clean up and categorize the talk page as well, if no one minds. Vekter 16:24, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Move

I think that - should be a disambiguation page for all - named articles, such as -- (move), -- (Ability), ----, -----, ----- (Ability) and ------- (Ability) and this page which should be moved to - (glitch Pokémon). If I have support, I will make the move and fix links. --SnorlaxMonster 23:01, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone (dis)agree? If not, then I will make this move soon. If I get support, I'll do it sooner, if I get nonsupport, I will reconsider. I need opinions please. --SnorlaxMonster 10:08, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
I agree. do it1ted59 23:16, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
OK, that's enough for me. --SnorlaxMonster 23:45, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Types

Possibly the reason the status screen freezes in FRLG is because the game can't display Contest category images, due to them being absent? TTEchidna 04:45, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Stuff

It can be both male and female, though the ratio is unknown. Also, at level 45, it knows ThunderPunch, and sometimes some random moves (with only ThunderPunch being every time I encountered it; say thanks to Transform), and it yielded 192 EXP Points, without any bonus (no trainer, no lucky egg, no trade). Marked +-+-+ 09:58, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

If you can get a full learnset for it, that would be great. With that data, I've calculated its exact base experience to be 30. --SnorlaxMonster 10:12, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
I wish I could, as game restarts some time after encountering it and so far I couldn't find a way to change its level (YES I TRIED GAMESHARK. Either they are fake or something, or level is overwritten to 45 even with cheats). Managed to record two battles. Notably, when using one glitched move, it said that Pokémon was using move which contained name of one ability ("showing the most guts"), though not capitalized.
