Suction Cups (ability)

Suction Cups (Japanese: きゅうばん Suction Cups) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Only three Pokémon have this ability.

Effect

Suction Cups firmly anchors the body. This ability prevents the opponent from forcing a switch, or in the wild ending the battle, with Roar or Whirlwind.

Outside of battle

If a Pokémon with Suction Cups is in first place in your party bites will occur more often while fishing.
