Sticky Hold (ability)

Sticky Hold (Japanese: ねんちゃく Adhesion) is an ability introduced in Generation III that prevents item theft. Six Pokémon have this ability. Outside of battle, Sticky Hold causes bites to occur more often while fishing (see also Suction Cups).
