Skitty (Japanese: エネコ Eneco) is a Normal-type Pokémon, found on rare occasion along Hoenn's Route 116.
Skitty has the ability Cute Charm, which has a 30% chance of inflicting an Attract condition on foes using a direct attack on the Pokémon.
Skitty evolves into Delcatty when exposed to a Moon Stone.

Biology
Physiology
Skitty are pink feline Pokémon with a stumpy body, big head and a tail that resembles a plant. This all adds to an image of cuteness. They have slit-like eyes and ears with three tips to them. They could be thought of as Hoenn's equivalent to Clefairy.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Skitty, along with Glameow and Purugly, is able to wield the Assist attack, which allows Skitty to use a random attack that's known by any other Pokémon on its trainer's team.
Behavior
Skitty are fascinated by and will chase anything that moves (a personality trait that is found in "real-world" kittens). Skitty will even chase its own tail.
Habitat
Skitty can be found living in trees in forests.

May catches a Skitty in I Feel Skitty. It wins a Contest in Game Winning Assist.In Delcatty Got Your Tongue?, May meets a Grand Festival winner named Dr. Abby whose Skitty is shown in a flashback.
Battle Pike Queen Lucy had a pet Skitty in Queen of the Serpentine.
In the manga
Skitty was one of Ruby's first Pokémon alongside Poochyena and Ralts, it later on, evolved into a Delcatty.

Origin
Skitty is based on a kitten with its tail resembling foxtail grass.
Name origin
Skitty's name is a combination of skittish and kitty. Its Japanese name refers to 狗尾草 enokorogusa, foxtail grass, a type of plant that Skitty's tail resembles, and 猫 neko, cat.
