What?!

What on earth is this? Can someone mark this for deletion? Or at least clean this up. This grammar is terrible. →Evin290 19:05, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

It does need to be cleaned up but you're free to do that yourself. I'm certainly not deleting it on the basis of bad grammar. --FabuVinny 21:44, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm not suggesting to delete it because of its poor construction. It just doesn't make sense. These "evidences" don't draw any conclusions. Do people really believe this? Why is it called "altoshipping?" I would clean it up, but I don't see any reason to when I don't know why it's here in the first place. Could someone explain exactly what the point of this article is? It's not informative and it's nonsensical. I don't see its value to the wiki. Am I the only one who thinks so? →Evin290 02:37, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
It's a valid ship and pretty canon at that. As I said, it needs work but there is no reason to delete it. --FabuVinny 15:38, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

HEY I worte this article by myself! i watched the movie a couple times just to write this shipping. As you should know, i love Altoshipping! I WORKED SO DARN HARD ON THIS!!!!!!!!!! - unsigned comment from ernest132132 (talkcontribs)

Hey um... should it be noted that this is more of a one sided shipping?, since its obvious that Latias really likes Ash. Nobody 00:33, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Amazing why Ash didn't capture it...O_o Agent #448 DP | E | 08:42, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey, I'm still not too sure with the whole Wiki type contributions (or the formatting for that matter), but I think that a few things should be chaged, and I wanted to run them by everyone first, just to make sure:

  • Bongore's name in the English version is Lorenzo, is it not? I know it is his name in the JP version, but then Ash's name would then be Satoshi, Misty is Kasumi, etc. so I think Bongore should be changed to Lorenzo.
  • I think there is more evidence than cited for it being Latias at the end, not Bianca:
    • There are plenty of times where Bianca shows little or no interest in Ash, while Latias is completely smitten with him throughout.
    • Her eyes flash gold for a moment during the scene at the dock.
    • It seemed to me that there were quite a few hints that Bianca liked Latios, not Ash...
  • As far as Mareshipping, I think there are a few things to consider:
    • Like I said above, Bianca makes it pretty obvious that she doesn't really like Ash too much, and she might even like Latios.
    • Also, Bianca is never actually shown at the dock right after "she" runs away. My evidence:
      • She is shown back there, but it is after both an evening and night scene (Ash &co. camping and Aniie & Oakley in prison) so there's proof that it happened only after at least a day later.
      • She has her hat on when she is painting at the dock, so she would have gone all the way back to get it, and then came back out.
      • If Latias can take on Bianca's form, there's no reason she can't paint.
      • When she handed the painting over, she used the same body language that Latias did earlier in the movie.
      • If you saw Bianca and Lorenzo in trouble, who would you call for first? The old man, or the cute girl?
      • Ash thought it was Bianca because he is hopelessly stupid. This is proven time and again in the anime, movies, etc. by his complete obliviousness and his being a "master trainer" despite not knowing basic type matchups.
      • Nobody else knows which is which except, f course, Bianca. How could they?
    • It could just as easily been Latias, who transformed to her true self and flew out to see them off with the two Latios

These are my opinions and speculations, but what part of this article isn't opinion? heh. Well, that's all I wanted to say, but if you think these are valid, please let me know, so I can do the edit myself; I'm new, so I want to bolster by nonexistand rep here if possible, thanks! --NonaSuomi The cake is a lie but the cube is forever 03:25, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

That scene at the end of the movie was made in such a way so it could have been either Biance or Latias, although I innitially assumed it was Latias. Who knows? Taromon777 13:01, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Okay Kuki, discuss this

There are a good number of fairly large or "mainstream" shipping pages where there is no particular list of who's giving what hints and none of them are marked as being out of line, yet Altoshipping is not allowed to do this? Please explain why. NonaSuomi 05:37, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

In defense of of the article's current status as having two couples under one name and being a one-off per its movie origins, its current form is the less cluttered and intrusive format, hence is the best formula for handling its contents. It shouldn't have to be cleaned up simply because it's not split into two lists per couple. The only time this should be required are when the majority of hints do not intermingle with another's, such as HeatTagShipping, for example. The times it should not be required are in situation's such as this, with two under one, as per the example of BrocketShipping. Otherwise, as long as hints are categorized in some fashion, how they are organized is moot. Though if you want to tackle the HoennShipping and FranticShipping articles, be our guest. ArcToraphim 11:34, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
So how long do we wait before reverting it? NonaSuomi 11:54, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Bianca or Latias?

In the scene at the end of the movie, Bianca's eyes have a yellowish tint, like Latias's eyes. Could this indicate that it was Latias who gave Ash the painting? Taromon777 18:25, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

I don't know you've noticed it but during the entire movie bianca never removed her hat. When she handing the picture to Ash she doesn't wear a hat. That could lead to the conclusion she was latias but before she hands ower the picture there was a scene Bianca's hat hanging on canvas. This makes me think that she wants to make Ash, Misty and Brock think the one kissing Ash was Latias by leaving her hat behind. So my conlusion is the one who kissed him is Bianca. emergency190303:40, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
