BoulderShipping (Japanese: サトタケ SatoTake) or The other ShiShi is a shōnen-ai fanbased couple of Ash and Brock.
Ash's hints
- In Sick Daze, Brock falls ill and is put to bed. He attempts to work but nearly faints. Ash catches him and holds him before putting him back in bed.
- In Gotta Catch Ya Later! Ash barely seemed to care when Misty was going to leave the group. However, once Brock said he needed to return home, it was then that he started letting his emotions loose. Though it is more likely that he was sad more on the fact of being alone.
- In You Can Never Taillow, Ash wishes desperately that Brock would return so that he could enjoy his cooking again.
Brock's hints
- Other friends have come and gone but Brock has followed Ash in every saga except in the Orange Islands and is currently traveling with him as of the latest Japanese episode.
- In Love at First Flight, Ash dresses up like Juliet in order to help Romeo practice what to say to her. When he's doing a terrible job, Brock offers a demonstration. He nearly forgets that he's talking to Ash and not Juliet and begins chasing him around trying to hug him.
- In Throwing the Track Switch, Ash and Pikachu become sick from over eating and Brock makes a potion for the two of them.

- Some say that what they feel to each other is more than just a good friendship.
- In Grating Spaces, Ash and Brock team up in a double battle against Jessie and James to save the Pewter Gym.
