Trivia

  • Together with Magikarp and Pichu, Seedot is the easiest Pokémon to catch in Pokémon Ranger, with only one loop necessary.
  • Seedot, in size and shape, resembles a Met from the Mega Man series.

Origin

Seedot appears to be based on an acorn.

Name origin

In other languages

  • German: Samurzel - a combination of Samen (seed) and Wurzel (root)
  • French: Grainipiot - Includes grain, and possibly marmot (tyke).
  • Korean: 도토링 Dotoring
