Seed Flare (Japanese: シードフレア Seed Flare) is a damage-dealing Grass-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Shaymin.

Effect

Seed Flare inflicts damage and has a 40% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense stat by two stages.

Shaymin	Pollutants (poisons, gases, smoke, etc.) are absorbed into Shaymin's flowers. Its toxic petals start to glow, then its whole body begins to glow light green and then seemingly explodes, generating a powerful shockwave. In the Reverse World, it causes a portal to the real world to form. The size of the explosion depends on how much Shaymin takes in. The more it takes in, the bigger the explosion.
