Satoshi (Zensho)

Satoshi is the main characther of the Pokémon Zensho manga and directly based on Red of the original games. Like his counterparts, he is rivals with Shigeru. After he saves Shigeru's life, they become friends and set out to capture Mewtwo.

Trivia
- He shares the name with Ash Ketchum from Pokémon anime. However, he is based on Red, not Ash, so his name actually comes from the optional names from game, not anime hero's name. If Pokémon Zensho was released in English language, he would be named Ash, but the manga was never released outside Asia. Similar situation applies to Shigeru, Satoshi's rival and Haruka from Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪.
