The English version of this card's illustration had the color of Jynx's face changed from black to purple due to the blackface controversy. However, instead of only Jynx's face and hands being recolored, the outlines of the drawing of Jynx were recolored from black to purple as well.

Origin

Helping Hand is a move in the Pokémon games that was later introduced in Generation III. The Japanese name of Helping Hand is not the same as that of the attack in the games, making the move and this attack unrelated.
