Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. The Japanese version of this card was released in CoroCoro magazine in August 2001. The English version of this card was released at BattleZone events in January 2003. There were two versions, one includes a gold "Winner" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork and the other did not. A jumbo version of the card was also released with the winner logo.

Trivia

This card was the first of only two VS-style cards to see release outside Japan, the other being Rocket's Scizor.

Origin

Continuous Scratch may be based on Fury Swipes, a move in the Pokémon games that Sneasel can learn. The Iron Masked Marauder has a Sneasel in Celebi: The Voice of the Forest.
