This card was reprinted in EX Team Rocket Returns with different art done by Ryo Ueda and tweaked text to take full advantage of the Pokémon featured in that set.
Trivia
No cards in the set that this card was originally released in can take advantage of its effects. It may have appeared in anticipation of Neo Destiny, where Dark Pokémon made their reappearance, or because Dark Raichu was released in Japan in the set immediately before.
Origin
This card might be based on the various Team Rocket hideouts seen in the Pokémon games, one hidden beneath the Rocket Game Corner in Celadon City in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, and their Generation III remakes, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen; the other hidden beneath the item shop in Mahogany Town in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
