Roar of Time is an extremely powerful Dragon-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is sometimes called a Dragon-type Hyper Beam, and is Dialga's signature move.

Effect

Roar of Time deals a large amount of damage and then forces the user to recharge during the next turn. Unless this attack misses, the user will always have to recharge.

In the anime

Pokémon

Dialga. The diamond on Dialga's chest glows and the fins on its backside extend. Dialga then opens its mouth and energy is collected and formed into a ball. The ball turns into a beam and is shot at the opponent.
