Collection Packs (TCG)

The Collection Packs (Japanese: コレクションパック Collection Pack) are a series of three 12-card sets for the Pokémon Trading Card Game that were designed to give players the opportunity to use previously rare promotional cards. They were released in Japan only.

• The packs were released on 18th April 2009.

Information

• Each of the packs contain 12 cards, 6 of which are holographic, and each one focusing on a specific LV.X card. All of the cards except the LV.X Pokémon were released as promotional cards in Japan; the majority of them are part of the "DP-P" Promotional cards collection. They also include cards from the Pokémon Fan Club, and each pack also contains the rare Time-Space Distortion Trainer card.
• The featured LV.X cards previously had English-exclusive artwork; Mewtwo and Regigigas released in the Holiday 2008 Collector Tins, and Shaymin in the Spring 2009 Collector Tins (released a month prior).
