Effect

Generation II onwards

When this move is used, a rainfall will start on the field which will last for 5 turns. This clears any other weather effect.

Also, the moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight will recover only 1/4 of the user's maximum HP. Thunder will be 100% accurate under Rain Dance effect.
