Release information

In Japan, this card was awarded from November 2009 onwards as a Hyper Rank prize through the Pokémon Daisuki Club's Action Point system, which replaced the Pokémon Fan Club and its EXP Point system in May 2008. In order to obtain it, players must have earned a total of 5,200 Action Points.

Trivia

This card's Mega Thunderbolt attack is identical to the attack of the same name on the Raichu ex from EX Sandstorm.

Origin

According to Mega Thunderbolt's Japanese name, Mega Thunderbolt is ten times more powerful than Thunderbolt, a move in the Pokémon games that Raichu can learn.
