Punishment is a Dark-type move introduced in Generation IV that deals variable damage depending on the stats of the foe. Its damage is calculated by the following formula:

Base Power=60+ (20 * times of power ups)

For example, if the opponent has used Bulk Up twice and Swords Dance once, there is a four-level increase in Attack and a two-level increase in Defense, making a total of six, which make Punishment have a base power of 180.
