Psyshock (Japanese: サイコショック Psycho Shock) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation V. It has been TM03 since Generation V.

Effect

Psyshock inflicts damage. Despite being classified as Special move, this move calculates damage using the user's Special Attack and the opponent's Defense stat (similar to Psystrike and Secret Sword).

Despite targeting the opponent's Defense stat, the move's damage is unaffected by Reflect. It is instead, afected by Light Screen.

When this happens, its body flashes light blue, blue and purple before forming the mass of energy.
