Card text

You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card.
Search your deck for an Evolution card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

This card was reprinted in the EX Unseen Forces and EX Dragon Frontiers sets with a full-frame view of the same artwork. It was reprinted in the HeartGold Collection with new artwork by the same artist.

Origin

Professor Elm is the resident Pokémon Professor of the Johto region. The original artwork depicted him alongside Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, the three starter Pokémon available in Johto.
