Pokémon the First Movie (ISBN 9780613790390) is a comic book published by VIZ Media in North America and Shōgakukan in Japan. It is a manga-style book (called "Ani-Manga" by VIZ) which retells the plot of Mewtwo Strikes Back and Pikachu's Vacation using screenshots from the film. Takeshi Shudō and Hideki Sonoda are credited as the authors.
It was originally released as four monthly issues which were later collected in one bound volume.
