Pokémon Beauty Contest

The Pokémon Beauty Contest is a Pokémon breeding competition held in Bonitaville. Pokémon Breeders enter their Pokémon, which are judged by their health and beauty.
It was featured in the episode Beauty and the Breeder during the anime. Brock and Suzy entered this contest as partners, with their Pokémon of choice being Vulpix. Zane also entered the competition with his Ninetales. Team Rocket entered as well, but attempted to sabotage it with their usual antics, first by trying to take the spot of the first entrant, and afterwards by trying to steal all the Pokémon in the competition. The winner was not announced, but the announcer of the anime closed the competition by saying Brock would always be the top breeder in our hearts.
Some fans consider this competition a forerunner of Pokémon Contests. However, it focused entirely on aspects of breeding, rather than the flashy displays which distinguish contests from other types of competitions.
