Overgrow (ability)

Overgrow (Japanese: しんりょく Fresh Greenery) is an ability introduced in Generation III that ups Grass moves in a pinch. This means that when a Grass-type move is used, it will do 150% of its damage if the Pokémon using it is below 30% of its HP.

In Mystery Dungeon, it will do double the damage if the Pokémon using it is below 25% of its HP.

Twelve Pokémon have this ability; each one of them is a member of the evolution family of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh's Grass-type starter Pokémon.
