This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection reprint sets, which were only released outside of Japan. The Legendary Collection version was not Holographic.

Thrash and Toxic are both moves in the Pokémon games that Nidoking can learn. The card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Red and Blue.
