A Newscaster (Japanese: ニュースキャスター Newscaster) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games, appearing in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD.

In Colosseum, Newscasters could only be battled in Colosseums, and the only one with a name was Ancha, who appeared at the very end of the game at the battle with Fein. In Pokémon XD, Ancha now works for ONBS, and Newscasters can be found at Mt. Battle.
