Born January 21, 1980 as Nana Kondō (Japanese: 近藤奈々 Kondō Nana) in Niihama, Ehime, Japan, she targeted to be an enka singer originally, began to train singing enka when she was five years old. She entered arts course in Horikoshi High School which allowed lower attendance. Despite having an agent, Nana still have not had a chance for a debut, making her as an almost rare full-attendance student in the school. On the same time, she entered a seiyū course, she finally debut at 1997.
In 2000, Nana left her original agent company and joins King Records, largely promote her prestige. As to date, she has 31 singles and the only seiyū staging on the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, which is a honor for the singers in Japan.
