Mr. Evans (Japanese: アキト Akito) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime.
He appeared in Wings 'N' Things. His son, Zachary, was made their hometown angry because his Yanma was breaking the windows of all the stores in town including the ones owned by the town baker Mr. Strussel. Even though knowing how much Yanma meant to Zachary, Mr. Evans told his son that he had to get rid of the Pokémon. Reluctantly, Zachary released it.
After Zachary saved the town from Team Rocket, Mr. Evans and the rest of the town recognized that Zachary had the potential to train Yanma, and they allowed him to keep it.
