Release information

This card was reprinted in the Pokémon VS (Japan only) and Expedition Base Set sets. It was reprinted in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion with new artwork by Noriko Hotta. The Japanese release of this print was reclassified as a Goods card, but the English did not adopt this name and continued classifying it as a Trainer card; this print was renamed "Moomoo Milk" to match the item's name in the video games.

In Neo Genesis, this card's artwork was changed between the Japanese and English releases. The original art (also by Tomokazu Komiya) depicts a Sentret suckling on a cow's udder, and was changed as it was seen as potentially inappropriate for the TCG's young audience. The subsequent Japanese VS and e-Card reprints applied this art change.

Trivia

The original release of this card spells the item's name with a hyphen; in the Pokémon games, it is spelled as "Moomoo Milk," (previously "MooMoo Milk") without a hyphen.

Origin

Moomoo Milk is a nutritious drink in the games that can restore 100HP to the Pokémon it is fed to.
