• Like several other VS-styled cards, this card could technically have been an evolution card, as cards of Misty's Poliwag and Misty's Poliwhirl were released previously.
• Despite being based in the anime, this card's art features Misty in her Pokémon VS art.

Body Slam and Water Gun are both moves in the Pokémon games that Politoed can learn. Misty owns a Politoed in the anime that she caught as a Poliwag.
