Michiru

Michiru

(Japanese: ミチル Michiru) is one of the characters of the day in DP148 and the younger brother of Ruchiru. He is voiced by 西墻由香 Yuka Nishigaki in Japanese.

Michiru had ran away from Ruchiru after she and her Misdreavus kept defeating him and his newly caught Murkrow. Ruchiru explained to Ash, Dawn, and Brock that it must have been his Murkrow that made the illusion of Giratina and the flood.

While looking for the Dusk Stone, Ash and Dawn encounter Michiru's Murkrow again. When it attacked, Pikachu took it out with one Thunderbolt. This caused Michiru to go into a rage. He explained that he was training Murkrow very hard without any rest so that it could become strong, but because of this, Murkrow stopped obeying him. Ash and Dawn explained to him that what he was doing wasn't right and the Pokémon need to be treated as partners. Michiru began crying, realizing that he had hurt Murkrow.

Michiru and Murkrow eventually returned to Ruchiru only to find her in trouble. Team Rocket had stolen her Misdreavus and attempted to take the Dusk Stone that she found. Michiru helped his sister and Misdreavus escape from Team Rocket. Ruchiru no longer felt the need of evolving her Misdreavus into Mismagius and she and her bother would have a battle to see who would get the Dusk Stone.
