Trivia

  • Despite its Emerald Pokédex entry stating that it can fly, it cannot learn the move.
  • Meditite is the last answer to Who's that Pokémon? in the dub.

Origin

It appears to be based upon practitioners of yoga. It also has some physical traits similar to a chimpanzee.

Name origin

Meditite's name is a corruption of meditate, while its Japanese name is most likely a corruption of asana, which in yoga refers to a pose or posture.
