Mary (Johto)

Mary (Japanese: カレン Karen) is a character of the day for Mild N Wooly!. She is voiced by Amy Birnbaum in English and 三田ゆう子 Yūko Mita in Japanese.
While Ash, Misty and Brock were taking a break from their adventures, Fluffy showed up to steal Pikachu's electricity. This lured in other Mareep to do the same thing as well, until Mary's mom came in. Using her Raichu's electric attacks, all Mareep stopped absorbing Pikachu's electric attacks.
Back at her home, she explained that because she was dozing off, daydreaming about the local tournament, she didn't pay attention to all of the Mareep, letting them off free. When Ash was eager to enter the tournament as well (which he couldn't since he didn't live in the area), Mary wanted to enter the tournament as well, but Mary's mother refused since she couldn't control the Mareep. Instead, she was forced to concentrate on the Contest, rather than the tournament.
During the evening, she was seen training her Mareep's electric attacks. Thus, Ash complemented that she's done a good job raising it. Randomly on her mind, she requested a battle with Ash's Pikachu, and he accepted. As her Mareep and his Pikachu battled, Ash commanded his Pikachu to stop battling. As her Mareep continued to battle, it collapsed itself due to using too much energy during the day, as explained by Ash.
At home, alone at her room, she apologizes to her Pokémon because she was thinking about winning and not thinking about it's condition first. She made a vow that she'll always think about it's feelings first.
Late at night, her mom (along with Ash and his friends) took out all of the Mareep outside so they can obtain electrical energy from a thunderstorm to make their fleece perfect during the Mareep Festival. While gaining electricity, Team Rocket shows up and steals all of them. While trying to get them back, her mom's Raichu uses Thunderbolt, starting up a fire in their balloon after being short-circuited. Coming up with an idea, Mary wants all of the Mareep to use their electric attacks on her Mareep so her Mareep's electric attacks become more powerful. This causes Team Rocket to blast off.
The next day, her mom gives Mary her old Poké Ball so she can use it in the festival. Everyone roots for her during her battle.
