- A 1st Edition version of this card came free with the 2 Player Starter Set. This card was reprinted in the Legendary Collection reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan.

Origin
Strikes Back is similar to the ability Rough Skin, though in the Pokémon games, Machamp cannot have it. Seismic Toss is a move in the Pokémon games that Machamp can learn. This card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded.
