Release information
A 1st Edition version of this card was included in the 2 Player Starter Set. Another 1st Edition Base Set version of this card with a "galaxy" foil was included with the Base Set 2's 2 Player CD-ROM Starter Set, which was only released outside of Japan. This card was reprinted in the Legendary Collection reprint set, which was also only released outside of Japan.
While an Unlimited Edition version of the Base Set print of this card was never officialy released, a version of this card lacking the 1st Edition stamp was included in a demo deck given out to prototype Pokémon Leagues before the TCG officially launched in the United States.

Seismic Toss is a move in the Pokémon games that Machamp can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
