Lovely Kiss (Japanese: あくまのキッス Demon's Kiss) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It is the signature move of Jynx.

Effect

Generation I

Lovely Kiss causes the target to fall asleep. Lovely Kiss cannot affect the target if it already has a major status ailment. In Stadium, Lovely Kiss can't affect the target if it has a Substitute.

In the anime

Pokémon

Jynx. Jynx kisses the opponent and its lips glow. Seconds later, the opponent falls asleep. Its lips may also glow pink and release pink light in the shape of its lips.
