Lapras (Japanese: ラプラス Laplace) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the Skyridge expansion.

This attack randomly does damage to the Defending Pokémon and lets you remove a number of damage counters from your Active Pokémon.

Selecting "Yes" shows the damage done to the Defending Pokémon and the number of damage counters removed from the player's Active.

Origin

A move named Assist later appeared in Generation III of the Pokémon games; however, Lapras cannot learn it. Furthermore, the Japanese names of this attack and the move in the games are different, making them unrelated.
