Disney XD is a cable channel broadcasting in fifteen countries worldwide. It is owned by the Walt Disney Company, and has been previously known as Fox Kids and Jetix. The channel has existed in one form or another since 1996.
Disney XD is one of the channels that shows the Pokémon anime. This anime is not broadcast in all countries where Disney XD can be found; only the United Kingdom, Netherlands, French, Norwegian, Polish and Chinese variants of Disney XD show Pokémon.
Disney XD replaced Jetix UK on August 31, 2009, similar to how Toon Disney was replaced in the United States by Disney XD, and continues to air the Diamond & Pearl story arc. All other Jetix channels throughout Europe are currently being re-branded as Disney XD.

Global airing
United Kingdom
In the United Kingdom, Disney XD currently shows Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Battle Dimension and has also shown Giratina and the Sky Warrior in the UK. Pokémon in the UK was previously shown on Disney XD's predecessors Jetix.
Disney XD UK is available on Sky by purchasing the Children Pack, or Virgin Media by purchasing the XL Channel package. It is also available on Tiscali TV system.
Elsewhere
Giratina and the Sky Warrior has been shown on Disney XD in the Netherlands.
