  • Ho-Oh is written as Ho-oh on the card. This was prior to Generation III confirming Ho-Oh as the correct way to capitalize the Pokémon's name.
  • This card's illustration portrays the same scene as Lugia and Skarmory, but with a focus on Ho-Oh. Postcards of the joint artwork were distributed in the Trainer's Magazine.
