Hazel (Japanese: Maron) is the main character of the romantic manga series Pokémon PiPiPi Adventure, also known as Magical Pokémon Journey. In order to earn a potion to make Almond, the object of her affection, fall in love with her, she's supposedly catching Pokémon for a mad scientist known as Grandpa. However, Hazel is quite carefree and happy-go-lucky, and hasn't actually caught any Pokémon -- she does have a Pikachu, Clefairy, and a Jigglypuff, but they sort of found her, rather than the other way around.
Hazel often wears a magical suit made by Grandpa which protects her from all sorts of harm, from electric shock to drowning.
