Gardenia's Turtwig (Japanese: ナタネのナエトル Natane's Naetle) is Gardenia's main Pokémon. It is voiced by 伊東みやこ Miyako Itō in Japanese and by Billy Beach in English.

It was first seen in The Grass-Type is Always Greener where it battled against Ash's Turtwig and Staravia. Turtwig was proven to be both able to move at amazing speeds and very powerful. It was untouchable by any of Ash's Pokémon and won the battle.

Turtwig wasn't seen again until A Secret Sphere of Influence where it helped protect the Adamant Orb.

It then appeared again in The Grass Menagerie! where it battled in Ash's gym battle against Gardenia. With its impressive speed, it defeated Ash's Staravia but lost to Turtwig after a fierce battle.

It again appeared in Once There Were Greenfields where it was used in a double battle alongside James's Cacnea. It was defeated by Dawn's Pachirisu.
