Release information

This card was released as both a regular sized and Jumbo sized promotional card in the Garchomp-EX Box released April 1, 2014. In Japan, it was released as one of the XY-P Promotional cards and was one of four possible promotional cards given to customers who purchased ¥1000 worth of Pokémon Card Game products at participating stores as part of the Corocoro Presents: XY Super Hot Start-Up Campaign, which launched on December 13, 2013 in celebration of the release of Collection XCollection Y. This card features the campaign logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.

Trivia

For unknown reasons, the English version of this card has a matte finish rather than the glossy finish typical of Pokémon-EX cards.

Origin

Dual Chop is a move in the Pokémon games that Garchomp can learn.
