Trivia
Origin
It appears to be based simply on a sheep, although it might borrow its electrical aspect from the way wool builds up static charges.
Name origin
Flaaffy's name may be a combination of fluffy and baa, the sound a sheep makes. Its Japanese name could come from 羊毛 yōmō, wool, and a corruption of もこもこ mokomoko, fluffy. Its German name, Waaty, comes from watt and Watte. Its French name, Lainergie, comes from laine and énergie.
