Fire Punch (Japanese: ほのおのパンチ Flame Punch) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect
Generation I
Fire Punch does damage and has a 9.8% chance of burning the opponent.
Fire Punch can't burn an opponent that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.
Generation II and on
Same as Generation I with a 10% chance of causing a burn instead.
