A Expert (Japanese: たつじん Expert) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games. They are generally depicted as old men or old women.
A similar but different class was introduced in Generation IV under the name of Veteran.
They usually have Fighting-type Pokémon.
