Elekid (Japanese: エレキッド Elekid) is an Electric-type baby Pokémon.
It evolves into Electabuzz starting at level 30, who evolves into Electivire via trade with an Electirizer.
Biology
Physiology
Elekid is a yellow, round-bodied Pokémon. Elekid is lacking in both a tail and toes. Elekid's arms are bulkier than those of its evolved form. Elekid has two horns on top of its head that are shaped like the prongs of a plug, making it look like a walking power plug. Elekid also has a black lightning bolt marking on its chest.

None.
Special abilities
Elekid is able to know attacks which its evolution, Electabuzz, can learn. The only exception is that Elekid is unable to learn Hyper Beam or Giga Impact.
Behavior
Elekid tend to play out in the middle of thunderstorms.
Habitat
Elekid normally live in Power Plants.
Diet

Elekid mainly feed off of electrical currents.
In the anime
Elekid first appeared in Pikachu's Rescue Adventure and appears to be an old friend of Pikachu. The little Electric Pokémon decided to assist Pikachu and co. in finding Togepi. Elekid even stood by Pikachu's side when he was trying to prevent lightning from striking the Giant Tree.
In Misty Meets Her Match, Tracey showed Professor Oak a sketch he made of an Elekid that was partially hidden in a bush.
Casey captured an Elekid in Here's Lookin' at You, Elekid. It is one of her favorite Pokémon and was seen with her in A Date With Delcatty and Those Darn Electabuzz.
An Elekid was used by one of the students of the Pokémon Trainer's School in Gonna Rule The School!.
In Reversing the Charges, an Elekid had absorbed a high amount of lightning and was electrifying every other Pokémon in sight. The AC Powerplug Pokémon calmed down and returned to its good old self after battling Ash's Pikachu.
Paul owned an Elekid. He used it to battle to battle Ash's Pikachu in When Pokémon Worlds Collide! and Roark in Shapes of Things to Come. Paul's Elekid evolved into Electabuzz in Smells Like Team Spirit.
An Elekid appeared under the ownership of Mitchell in One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team!.
An Elekid appeared in DP137, who, along with Piplup, fell in love with a Marill.

- Elekid's Pokédex entries between Generations III and IV are contradictory on whether Elekid can store electrical energy in its body.
- Nintendo was concerned about making Elekid toys because children might put the prongs into a power outlet, which could electrocute the child.
- Although it has no visible tail, Elekid can learn Iron Tail.
- Elekid's normal and shiny colors were switched in the games from Generation III onward.
- However, in its Sugimori Artwork and in the Anime, its color stayed the same.
