In Japan, upon the release of Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark, this card was made available as a holographic L-P promo in the LEGEND Perfect Set. The English print was made available in the Fall 2010 Collector's Tins.

This Entei card is based on the Shiny Nintendo event Entei given out in Japanese movie theaters playing Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark in July 2010. Flare Blitz is a move in the Pokémon games that the event Entei knows. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold.
