Endrevving
From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.
Endrevving is a strategy that involves using Endure to survive a hit with 1 HP, activate a Salac Berry to raise Speed or Liechi Berry to boost Attack, then using Reversal or Flail. The name is a contraction of the moves Endure and Reversal. Those using this strategy must be wary of such moves as Hail or Sandstorm, or status effects such as Poison or Burn, which deal damage after attack damage has been calculated. Other moves to worry about are increased-priority moves, such as Quick Attack and Aqua Jet, which can destroy the point of this function.
