(These cards are not in play or in your opponent's hand.) At the end of your opponent's next turn, return those cards to your opponent's hand. This power can't be used if Empoleon is affected by a Special Condition.

Release information

This card was reprinted as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by the same artist. It was released in September 2007 as one of the cards available in the Diamond & Pearl Collector's Tins. The reprint featured English-exclusive artwork until it was released in Japan as one of two cards available in the Shining Darkness Special Pack.

Trivia

Early print runs have a Poké-BODY symbol instead of a Poké-POWER symbol. This error was corrected in later print runs.

Origin

Hydro Impact functions very similar to Hydro Cannon, a move in the Pokémon games that Empoleon can learn via Move Tutor.
